Lil Kim has released the music video for her new Dancehall flavored track “Nasty One.”

“Nasty One” is the first single from her upcoming fifth studio album, which will be released by Entertainment One Music later this year.

The track, which showcases a distinctly Jamaican sound, samples Bad English’s classic hit single “When I See You Smile,” which was covered by Jamaican artist Singing Sweet back in the 90’s.

“Nasty One” is a surprising detour for the traditional hardcore bars the rapper is known for, instead, she opts to showcase her vocal talents on the single.

“No other man makes me feel the way you do / I’m the nastiest when I’m with you / I’m a freak but only with my boo / You searched the world and now see that / Now you see you’ll never find a girl like me,” Kim sings.

Lil Kim promised fans that “Nasty One” is only a taste of what’s to come, as her album will feature a variety of different sounds.
